NANDKISHOR GAJANANRAO MANKAR is a senior retired artist and lecturer who has a passion for painting and photography. He was born on 27 November 1955 and worked as a lecturer in Applied Art at the Government Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya in Nagpur. He also taught as a contributory lecturer in the Post Graduate Department of Fine Art in 1992 and 1993. He has exhibited his artworks in various solo and group shows across India and abroad. He has received several awards and honors for his artistic achievements. He specializes in realistic and abstract paintings that depict nature, culture, and spirituality. He uses vibrant colors and expressive strokes to create captivating compositions. He is also an avid photographer who captures the beauty and diversity of life through his lens
